Mamas on the run
I’m constantly running after my twin toddlers. Now I’m also running with them! π
It can be tough to watch over two energetic boys. I’ve made a decision to embrace this busy phase and enjoy it. Therefore living healthy, exercising and being fit is essential. Running, going for long walks and cycling are the easiest activities to incorporate into a mom’s schedule. The difficult part is to find motivation to start!!
I started with long walks pushing the buggy. Our daily adventures looking after playgrounds also help to keep me motivated. My twins enjoy it a lot and the endorphins give me a good feeling and long-lasting energy.
Even a short walk can give you a significant boost. Starting is hard, but you will likely feel invigorated after a few times and want to keep going.
I’m training for my first 5K run. π
For me it’s about getting fit, feeling good and having more energy. So I’m taking it easy.
This is my training plan:
Daily walks
1x week twin-stroller running, slow and short-distance.
2x week evenings run, after kids are in bed.
Do you run? Have you tried running pushing the stroller? Should we maybe organize a Moms on the run meeting? π

I think it’s a great idea. I have some back problems, so now I take 15 minutes each day to walk around the park while the kids are in school. I’d love a running mom’s meeting too π
