The Trompetstraat is one of these smalls and cute streets from old Delft, with a lot of history to tell. It seems that the name of the street has changed around 1667 from Sint-Ursulastraat to Trompetstraat. All because of a famous Delft trumpet player (and sailor) called Cornelis Jacobsz.
